What that means in practice

Python sits where something has to run on a schedule with nobody watching: in the ERP integration it reads stock and orders out of two systems, reconciles them and writes them back, with nobody retyping anything. A cron entry and a hundred lines when that is enough; FastAPI once a second system needs to query the data.
